Your Hosts at North Vancouver Homestay
Nick and Lynda Kuit and their two sons, were born in South Africa
and emigrated to Canada in 1996.
Lynda started out her working
life as an Arabian horse breeder and riding instructor, then went
on to the fashion industry and ran her own boutique in Stellenbosch,
the heart of wine country in South Africa. A few years later she
developed an intense interest in computers. The computer bug bit!
Lynda has been involved with PCs for more than 20 years as well
as doing web publishing.
Nick has extensive managerial experience and currently works
as a Systems Analyst in a forensic engineering company. He enjoys
doing woodwork and hiking.
Nick Jr has just graduated from the University of Waterloo
in Ontario with a B.Maths(Hons) degree and now works at an environmental
consulting company in the forestry and terrestrial resource management
team. He is a keen mountain biker and during summer months will
be up the Grouse Mountain bike trails with his friends. He is also
a very keen curler, and obtained many awards in this unique Canadian
sport while at school and university.
Nick, Lynda and Nick Jr love to meet people from different cultures
and backgrounds. Having emigrated themselves, they can empathize
with the difficulties newcomers to this country sometimes face and
are always ready to help. They are always eager to help you make
North Vancouver Homestay your home away from home.
